Reviews-a very good source for free content

A very good source for free content are reviews of products, books or services on the topic related to your blog. Sometimes, sites with whom you are affiliated with offer pre-written reviews.

If you cannot find ready-to-use reviews, then write them yourself. Don’t forget to place an affiliate link at the end of your short review and connect it to such verbiage as, “Find out more here.”

Many affiliate brokers offer to point an affiliate link to any reviewed product. Use this opportunity, and your affiliate sales could go through the roof.

Just remember that you are not in the business to sell, unless of course you have your own product. So, don’t push your visitors to buy. Slowly develop a trusting relationship with them by offering free and useful reviews of products or services.

This tactic is known as “pre-sell” or soft sell. If you can master the art of pre-selling, then you can make more money than those who have pushy selling attitudes. Often people search the Internet for an item that they want to buy. They compare manufacture models, prices, and technical characteristics in order to be confident that their choice is the right one.

By offering a review- comparison between two or more related products or services, you can help these people to make a decision.

Showing the differences and similarities and letting people make their choice, is a great PRE-selling technique.
