Thousands of free articles can be found through such directories as Articlecity, Ezinearticles and many more. In fact, there are so many articles directories on the Internet that I created a page listing all the directories known to me. Click here to see all the article directories
By typing a key word in the search field of any article directory, you will be able to find a great deal of information related to your topic. You are more than welcome to use any article. Although these articles are free, the authors must be credited by placing the author’s bio at the end of the article with a working link.
This is one of the disadvantages of using free content. Your visitors might click the author’s link and jump to his or her website by-passing the remainder of your blog. Remember that there is a price for everything, and accept the fact you are paying for the free content by possibly losing some of your visitors.
However, you can make this loss less painful! Before using any free article, check the author’s website. If he or she runs an affiliate program, join the program, and place your affiliate link pointing to the author’s site. Now if some of your visitors leave your blog and buy products from the author’s website, you will earn a commission.
Some free articles are out-dated, but you can make them stand out by writing your own commentary prior to, or immediately following the free article. By doing so, you will bring your personality to the subject and gain the confidence of your visitors.
